Even if we’ve not yet met, yoga becomes a common bond on a path of self-discovery, healing, and health. I provide a safe environment for each participant to practice at their individual level, and honor their body in the process.
My own yoga journey began later in life and is so impactful on my well-being and peace of mind, that I am compelled to share the journey with others - especially those who think they have limitations that prevent them from cultivating a practice, or, for those who have the desire, and don’t know where or how to begin.
I am a Yoga Alliance registered teacher who has taught more than 1000 hours. My education includes Levels 1, 2, 3, and Senior Yoga teacher training with YogaFit, and, completion of my 200-hour Hatha teacher training. I hold a Yin Yoga (restorative) certification. To support my passion for working with mature Yogis and those with health challenges, I extended my training and certification to include Yoga for Seniors through Duke Integrative Medicine.
I currently study with well know physical therapists and yoga therapists to offer yoga solutions to positively impact the most common health challenges of aging.
