About

For me, teaching yoga is about sharing a gift...

Even if we’ve not yet met, yoga becomes a common bond on a path of self-discovery, healing, and health. My own yoga journey began later in life, and is so impactful on my well-being and peace of mind, that I am compelled to share the journey with others - especially those who think they have limitations that prevent them from cultivating a practice, or,  for those who have the desire,  but don’t know where or how to begin.

I teach Hatha yoga in a variety of settings:  to individuals, small groups at the studio, large groups at a fitness center, and even on a paddle board. I provide a safe environment for each participant to practice at their individual level, and honor their body in the process. Modifications of poses and use of props such as blocks, straps, cushions and even chairs are demonstrated and encouraged. My signature programs include Hatha yoga classes for beginner and intermediate levels, and gentle/chair classes.

Other programs include a teaching on the Chakras, energy centers of the body, accompanied by yoga poses and sequences that stimulate and balance each of the seven Chakras. I offer a “30 Days to Fit and Fabulous” program for those who are interested in additional detoxing and cleaner eating. Retreats provide a fun way to bring our community together to share yoga and healthy living, and explore fascinating destinations.

I am a Yoga Alliance registered teacher. I finished Levels 1, 2, 3, and Senior Yoga teacher training with YogaFit, and continued on to complete my 200 hour Hatha teacher training. I am a Stand Up Paddleboard certified guide and yoga therapy teacher. I hold a certificate in Nutrition from Sanoviv Medical Institute, and I am a certified Personalized Metabolic Typing practitioner. These skills enhance my ability to contribute to you as you progress on your path to a long and healthy life.

As your yoga guide and healthy living partner, I invite you to join me in person or online. You will connect with your body, mind and spirit in new ways, leaving you centered and calm, yet energized and vital. You will become stronger and the physical activities of daily living will be easier. You will experience new ways to honor your body and expand your mind, feeling supported on your journey by me and a like-minded community.
